This is such an interesting reflection on the TED talk phenomenon and how, despite its popularity, it really didn’t affect any real change at all. It all reminds me of a John Mayer lyric I think about often:

Is there anyone who ever remembers changing their mind from the paint on a sign? Is there anyone who really recalls ever breaking rank at all for something someone yelled real loud, one time?
