I don’t know if this is a good prediction or claim chowder for later but it’s an interesting hypothesis nonetheless:

I think Threads is already over? I know it sounds a little ridiculous to call it this early, but I think I’ve seen enough. I think the app is structurally incapable of supporting culture and I think, barring something unexpected, it will continue to fade into weird obscurity. Meta’s core product design is the absence of conflict. And without conflict, without politics, without journalism, without debate, your users cannot create anything that matters.
